An astronaut and a satellite held inside a cloud of dust and light, on a base of dark red wood. In space there is no sound at all — sound is a pressure wave and it needs air to travel through, and there isn’t any — which makes it the most silent place that exists. This is a 6 by 4 inch piece of it, wired to a USB port. The pigment is suspended through the depth of the block rather than printed on a face, so the cloud shifts when you move your head.
