The warranty

The unit number Mauna emailed you the day your box left is the whole claim. Mauna checks it against the register, and that is the entire process. If you do not have it to hand, the order number works too — it is slower on Mauna's side and it changes nothing on yours.

Thirty days, from delivery
  1. It arrived damaged or it is not what the page saidSend one photograph of the object and one of the box. Replacement or refund in full, your choice, and the original stays with you. Nothing is shipped back.
  2. It stopped workingOne photograph. A replacement is sent and nothing is returned, because asking someone to mail a broken lamp across the country before helping them is not help.
  3. You changed your mindFull store credit plus ten percent, or the money back — your choice. There is nothing to pack and nothing to return either way.
  4. It was a gift and it missedThe thirty days run from delivery, not from the day it was opened. If that is not enough time, say so and it is extended.
After thirty days
There is no warranty after day thirty

Mauna would rather say that than print a year it cannot honor. Plenty of shops advertise a one-year guarantee and then answer nothing in month seven. What exists here instead is smaller and real:

— Write with the unit number and a person answers. Not a form, not a bot, not a ticket number.
— Every fault is written down against the catalogue number it belongs to.
— If a fault turns out to be common rather than unlucky, the object is withdrawn from the catalogue, marked closed in the record, and everyone who bought one is emailed — including the people whose unit still works.

That last line is condition 03 of the standard doing its job. An object that does not survive the journey, or does not survive the year, does not stay in the catalogue because it sells well.

What is not covered, ever
  • DropsGlass and resin land badly. A chipped cube that met a tile floor is not a defect.
  • WaterNone of the lamps are sealed. A bathroom shelf will end one.
  • The wrong expectationsIt arrived and it does not light your room, or the sun never reaches your window — that is covered by the thirty days, not by a warranty, and the product pages say both things before you buy.

Claims go to contact.maunahq@gmail.com with the unit number or the order number in the subject line. Answered within one business day.
