Write a review

Mauna publishes reviews only from orders it shipped. The unit number written on the card in your box is what verifies it. Nothing is edited before it goes up, and a review is never taken down for being negative.

It is written by hand on the card inside your box. Both halves, exactly as they appear.
Used to match the order and to write back. It is never published.
Write what happened. Mauna would rather publish an honest three than an invented five.

Sending a review does not sign you up for anything.

How a review gets published
  1. You send it with a unit numberThe number Mauna emailed you the day your box left. Nothing is printed inside the parcel — the number lives in that email, and it is the only proof needed.
  2. Mauna checks it against the registerThe number has to match a box that actually shipped. If it doesn’t, you get an email asking about it rather than silence.
  3. It goes up uneditedSpelling included. Nothing is rewritten, nothing is trimmed for tone, and the unit number is displayed beside it so anyone reading can see it came from a real box.
  4. It stays upA review is never removed for being negative, and there is no reward for writing a good one. Mauna does not offer discounts, credit or gifts in exchange for reviews — that is what makes the ones on the site worth reading.
What Mauna will not do with this page

— It will not publish a review from someone who did not buy the object.
— It will not buy reviews, import them from a supplier’s listing, or generate them.
— It will not pay for a rating, in money, credit or free product.
— It will not hide the ones that hurt.

A review can also be withdrawn at any time — write from the same address and it comes down, no questions.
